Art treasures hunts
Learning by playing immersed in the history of Ancient Rome.
At hand of a map of the archeological site (Ostia Antica, Isola Sacra Necropolis, Portus or medieval village of Ostia Antica) the participants in the “(Art) treasures hunt” will find bas-reliefs, mosaics, sarcophagi and many other “treasures” that are often overlooked. Once the participants will reach the places indicated on the map, a guide will describe in a fun and captivating way what that particular treasure is or represents. This activity provides a different and amusing way to understand archeology and history. Suitable for children from the age of 6 to the age of 12. Minors have to be accompanied by an adult every two kids. Adults participants are responsible for the children and participate for free.
